A month ago this series would have been considered an exciting draw as it appeared as though these two teams would be fishing for a division title well into the month of September. The Cardinals tanked in the month of August however, leaving this series more about pride than anything else. Milwaukee is comfortable and will open the set with Randy Wolf on the mound opposite Jake Westbrook, so another road loss shouldn’t be that big of a deal.
